Developed for complex concrete surfaces
KANT was developed in 2015 for the renovation of worn and eroded concrete surfaces in skateparks—environments with
high demands on
smoothness and surface finish across both concave and convex geometries. Since then, the system has been used in
numerous projects
where conventional rigid grinding discs lack sufficient control or risk creating surface marks.
The design, with resin-bonded diamonds mounted on a flexible textile backing, allows the tool to adapt to the
substrate
rather than forcing a flat surface. The result is a more uniform finish, particularly in transitions, edges, and
sloped areas.
Typical applications
- Edge grinding and detail work
- Grinding of slopes (e.g. around drains)
- Renovation of concave and convex concrete surfaces
- Removal of scratches and surface irregularities
- Finishing and polishing of worn surfaces
